Personal Trainers

Personal trainers can be used for many purposes– everything from post-physical therapy recovery to weight loss to improved athletic performance.

At Downtown Health & Fitness, we have three knowledgeable and inspiring personal trainers. Each has her own specialties and training techniques.

Our trainers are certified by highly respected organizations in the fitness industry. Each of our trainers exhibits the skills and qualifications necessary to be an exceptional personal trainer.

Laurie Sevier

Certified Personal Trainer with ACTION

Laurie began running nearly 25 years ago and has since run six marathons, including the Boston Marathon. About five years ago she realized her running was suffering due to poor upper body and core weakness so she began her journey of strength training. She found it made a huge difference in both her running and overall health. Laurie in-corporated healthier eating habits as well. The combination of these led to her to become a Personal Trainer and help others get to the point of feeling good about how they look and feel. Her goal is to help people find a workout schedule that fits into their lifestyle.

Michelle is a self proclaimed fitness junkie and avid athletic enthusiast. No matter what your sport of physical activi-ty she has the knowledge to make you better. With her passion of kinesiology and proper nutrition Michelle would like to help people physically obtain their fitness goals. She is a certified instructor for PiYo, Tabata, Kickboxing and person-al founder of HIIT30 in the Bay Area. Michelle brings enthusiasm in helping everyone, no matter what their physical level, achieve their desired results.
